Kayserispor: Fighting for Survival and Searching for a Turnaround
Kayserispor managed to secure a point against Trabzonspor in the last round with a goalless draw, breaking a two-game losing streak. It was Sergej Jakirovic’s debut match as head coach, and although they didn’t win, they showed signs of improvement, particularly in attack, where they created several good chances.

However, the draw only extended their winless run in the Super Lig to six matches (four losses and two draws), with their last victory dating back to December 8, when they defeated Alanyaspor 2-0. With just 17 points from 20 matches, they sit dangerously close to the relegation zone, six points behind safety, meaning they face a tough battle to avoid the drop.
Another major issue is their poor home form – Kayserispor has collected just seven points from a possible 30 at Kadir Has Stadium, making them the second-worst home team in the league. Adding to their troubles, they have a terrible record against Konyaspor in recent seasons, failing to win any of their last 12 encounters (five draws and seven defeats), with their last victory coming back in 2019.
Coach Jakirovic will also have squad selection problems, as Julian Jeanvier, Anthony Uzodimma, Lionel Carole, and Eray Ozbek are all out due to injuries. However, the return of Stephane Bahoken and Joseph Attamah, who have served their suspensions, is a boost.

Konyaspor: Renewed Confidence and a Chance to Build Momentum
Konyaspor enters this match with much more optimism. After a poor run of form, they finally secured their first league win of 2025 with a 3-1 victory over Bodrumspor in the previous round, breaking a six-game winless streak in the Super Lig and providing a crucial morale boost.
Blaz Kramer was the standout performer, scoring twice and continuing his impressive form—he has now netted seven goals in his last six matches across all competitions. Konyaspor’s confidence was further lifted by another 3-1 victory in the Turkish Cup against Eyupspor, giving them a chance to record three consecutive wins for the first time this season.
Although they are currently seven points above the relegation zone, they know that their survival is far from guaranteed, and a loss in this match could drag them back into the danger zone. That’s why this clash against a direct rival is of great importance. However, one concern for coach Omer Korkmaz is his team’s inconsistent away form—Konyaspor has failed to win any of their last three league matches on the road (two losses and one draw).
Regarding squad availability, Korkmaz will be without Filip Damjanovic and Emmanuel Boateng, who are sidelined due to injuries. However, their biggest strength lies in Blaz Kramer, who is in exceptional form and will be the main threat to Kayserispor’s defense.

Betting Tips:
- Both teams to score (BTTS – Yes) – Kayserispor showed attacking improvement against Trabzonspor, while Konyaspor has been more dangerous in attack, especially with Kramer in top form.
- Konyaspor to score over 1.5 goals – They have scored three goals in each of their last two matches and come into this match with strong attacking momentum.
- X2 (Konyaspor not to lose) – Kayserispor is one of the weakest home teams in the league, while Konyaspor has a positive head-to-head record against them.
