Arsenal and Tottenham Battle for Italian Striker with 19 Goals This Season

Arsenal has shown interest in an Italian striker who is shining this season with 19 goals. However, the Gunners are not the only ones in the race – their fierce rivals, Tottenham, are also monitoring the situation and considering a move for the player.

Arsenal Plans to Sign a Striker

Mikel Arteta understands the importance of having a clinical striker for the team’s success, which is why the club is ready to invest heavily in this position during the summer transfer window. Arsenal has been linked with several top strikers in recent months, making the arrival of a new number nine almost inevitable.

On the other hand, Tottenham’s situation is much worse. The club sits in 14th place in the Premier League and is facing yet another trophyless season. Their only remaining hope for silverware lies in the Europa League. Due to poor performances, major squad changes are expected, and signing a new striker will be one of their priorities.

Kean in the Spotlight for London Rivals

According to reports from Nicolo Schira, both Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in Moise Kean. The 24-year-old Fiorentina striker is having a fantastic season, scoring 19 goals and providing 2 assists in 28 matches.

Kean could be a long-term investment for any club. Additionally, he already has Premier League experience, which increases his market value. Fiorentina is pleased with his performances but would be willing to sell him for the right price.

Who Else is on Arsenal and Tottenham’s Radar?

Arsenal is also considering other options, with Benjamin Šeško and Alexander Isak being among the top candidates. However, their price tags are significantly higher—especially Isak, for whom Arsenal would need to pay a British record transfer fee to lure him away from Newcastle.

As for Tottenham, the club signed Dominic Solanke last summer as their main striker. However, he has struggled with injuries, and the squad lacks a proper backup. Timo Werner is on loan, but he has failed to meet expectations—he has yet to score a goal in the Premier League this season.

It remains to be seen which of the two London rivals will secure Moise Kean’s signature and how much Fiorentina will demand for his transfer.
