Real Madrid captain Sergio Llull has reportedly signed the last contract of his professional career. The experienced guard, one of the club’s superstars, has signed a deal until 2025, with the intention of retiring from professional play with the “Blancos,” reports Carlos Sanchez Blas.
According to information, the agreement between Llull and Real Madrid was reached before the Olympic qualifiers, and the Spanish player signed the contract this week. This will be Llull’s 19th season with Real Madrid, the longest tenure by any player in the club’s history.Llull joined the team from Manresa in 2007 and has become one of the most important players in European basketball. Throughout his career with Real Madrid, he has won three EuroLeague titles (2015, 2018, 2023), and was particularly notable for hitting the winning shot in the final of 2023. He has also won 22 titles in Spain.In 2017, Llull was named EuroLeague MVP.
